EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques), also known as ‘tapping’, is a simple yet powerful mind-body practice that has seen a surge in popularity in recent years. It has been shown to help with a wide range of issues, from anxiety to phobias, to clearing emotional blocks, to processing limiting beliefs that hold us back from living our lives as fully as we’d like.

Led by Certified EFT Practitioner and Transformational Coach, Josh, this practical, creative and relaxed workshop uses a combination of Tapping/EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques) group coaching and journaling to help you get back on track, whilst also learning a simple yet powerful self-help technique.

How does EFT work?

Sometimes we know exactly what's stopping us from achieving our goals but haven't yet found a way past it, however much we've tried. Other times we have no idea, we just feel lost and need to find out where we are before we even think about goals.

EFT combines tapping on acupressure points to calm the body whilst verbalising thoughts and feelings about specific issues or problems. Whilst tapping on acupressure points sends a signal to the amygdala - the “smoke alarm” of our brains - to calm down, saying words linked to the issue in hand as we tap can “tune us in” to the specifics of that issue. This can help us make the connections needed to unpick blocks, and at the same time improve several physiological markers of health.

What’s impressive about EFT is how quickly it can help us get to the root of a problem, allowing us to gain clarity, shift perspective and clear what’s keeping us stuck. 

The workshop is split into three parts:

  • What is EFT and How Do We Use It?

    We start with an introduction to EFT/tapping and a practical demo of how it can be used for a variety of everyday life situations, as well as for general wellbeing.

  • Goals & Getting Unstuck

    Adding some group coaching and journaling into the mix, we get more specific; reflecting on where we are now, where we'd like to be and what might be stopping us from getting there. 

    We then use a simple tapping exercise to get to the root of any blocks and work through them.

  • What's Possible Now?

    With the clarity we've gained, we finish on a high - reflecting on what might be possible now!

About Me

I’m an Accredited Certified EFT Practitioner, Transformational Coach and Breathwork Trainer with a background as an actor and black belt martial artist.

I use this experience to help people shape, embody and take ownership of the stories they tell themselves and clear the blocks holding them back, using a mind-body blend of EFT and coaching.

I know what it’s like to be stuck and how life-changing it is when you unlock your potential. I’m passionate about helping you do the same.
